This fundraiser means a lot to me, as I spent time at children's when I was 14 years old and today is actually a significant day for a couple reasons...

On December 9th, 2009 I was hit by a car while crossing Grant Road in East Wenatchee. It is no secret that this accident signifcantly impacted my life physically, mentally and emotionally. I had bleeding in the brain and was flown to Seattle Harbor View Medical Center for emergency brain surgery that led to 6 days in a coma, with my loved ones not knowing how I would be when I woke up or if I would wake up. December 15th, 2009 I woke up and just 2 days later was moved to Seattle Children's Hospital and went through intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy. To say that Christmas time is special to my family is an understatement, as I was able to return home on Christmas Eve. Children's was an intregal part of my recovery as I was there for 9 days and had follow up visits for 18 months. I have so many happy memories from the experiences at children's even during such a traumatic time. There truly aren't enough words in the dictionary to explain how thankful and blessed I am to live this beautiful life.

On December 15th, 2018 I officially became the sole owner of Inspirations Ceramic + Art Cafe. I started working at the studio in October 2013 after graduating high school that spring. I was exciting to be working part time alongside my bestfriend, Nicole, while going to school at WVC for my general degree. About a year in, Nicole and I were managing the studio together and I just fell in love with the job. We were given a lot of responsbilty with creative freedom to build the business. After 5 years of hard work and a lot of faith, my goal of becoming the owner finally came true. Now the studio has been open for over 10 years and I have a full 5 years under my reign. Inspirations is locally owned and operated, we are not a franchise, working really hard to be a positive outlet for all ages to come together and create memories. Big thanks to our creative community, you are all amazing and we wouldn't be here without you!

• This is also the last day to turn in finished art to have ready for pick-up by Christmas!!
• You will pick out + purchase your pottery at the start of event.  (average price is $30, but ornaments start at just $13)
• We will have ALL of our special christmas silkscreens out for you to use.
• Includes all supplies + instruction.
• Welcoming ages 8+    (this is not a drop off kids event)
• Great for beginners + experiences painters alike.
• We have a full cafe in the center of the studio offering handcrafted espresso, Union Hill Ciders, 8 rotating flavors of ice cream, with a variety of other beverages + packaged snacks.
• You are welcome to come in early at 5:30 if you want more time to create. Keep in mind that we never require projects to be finished in one session, if you don't finish we will wrap it up for you to bring back to the studio anytime (no extra fees!).
• Pottery is fired to transform into ceramic. You will receive a reminder card w/ your pick-up date.
