Hello there,

Join us for Paint Me a Story, Inspirations Ceramic + Art Cafe’s Arts + Literacy Program, where children can enjoy story time followed by a fun pottery painting activity. Held on the first Saturday of each month from 9-11 am, it’s the perfect morning activity! Parents are welcome to attend with their children, or you can drop them off to enjoy some solo creative time. While the kids paint, parents can join in on a project of their own, order a coffee from our café, or simply relax and soak in the family-friendly atmosphere.

Our community guest readers include local business owners, police officers, firefighters, teachers, dentists, and more! This is a great opportunity to connect with community leaders, who will also share a little about themselves and their work. Whether they bring their own favorite book or select one from our collection, each reader can add their own creative flair, from dressing up to simply reading a beloved story. We’ve had everything from a teacher dressed as a crayon to a chiropractor in a foot costume!

To make this event accessible to more families, we offer tickets at a special discounted rate. One ticket includes a seat for one child and one parent. We also welcome donations to support the program—whether it’s a book for story time or sponsoring a child who might not otherwise be able to participate.
