Kids Clay Cookie Decorating On the day before Thanksgiving, join us from 1-3pm for a fun, hands-on event where kids can cut, shape, and decorate their own ‘cookies’ using clay. These clay creations are perfect for holiday decor, ornaments, or gift tags that last, so they’ll be a keepsake to enjoy every year! Inspirations provides a cozy, relaxed atmosphere where kids can explore their artistic side, create memories with friends, and get in the holiday spirit. Plus, don’t forget to grab a warm hot cocoa or treat from our cafe while you create. This drop-off event is perfect for kids to enjoy hands-on creativity in a warm, welcoming space while parents get ready for Thanksgiving dinner the next day! What to Expect • Shaping the Cookies: Start with a slab of clay, choose from our fun selection of cookie cutters, and cut up to 8 clay cookies to shape and decorate. • Decorating: Kids can add textures, patterns, and raised details for a truly custom look. Each cookie can be as unique as they want! • 'Baking' + Painting: Once your clay cookies have fully dried, we’ll fire them in our kiln to transform it into bisque. This takes about 2-3 weeks. We’ll text you when it’s ready to come in for painting, you can paint in our studio or even purchase glaze to paint at home for a fun activity! After they've been painted to your liking, we will fire them once more into finished ceramic. • Cafe: Treat yourself to hot cocoa, italian sodas, apple cider or one of our 8 rotating ice cream flavors—perfect for the holiday vibe. Pricing Details • Ticket price: $55 Includes a reserved seat, clay for up to 8 cookies, two hours of childcare, two kiln firings, painting materials for your second visit at a time convenient for you, guidance from our knowledgeable Inspirations team, and one cafe item (choose from ice cream, hot cocoa, italian soda, or apple cider). Important Info • Welcoming ages 8+ and all skill levels. • Dress comfortably—clothes might get a little messy! Aprons are provided. • We’ll fire your clay in our kiln and text you when it’s ready for painting (2-3 weeks). After painting, we’ll fire your creation one more time and text you when it’s ready to pick up (roughly 7 days). • Reservations are required. Walk-ins are not available for this event, so please reserve your child's spot in advance.
